In the 25 years since we first opened Plas Bodegroes, our restaurant has gained top awards from all of the leading guides, including (for 14 years) Michelin star, Egon Ronay star, and UK Restaurant of the Year in the Good Food Guide.
Our reputation is based upon the modern interpretation of traditional dishes, concentrating upon the superb local ingredients. In addition, we try to source our fish as sustainably as possible, and do not use endangered wild species.
As a result some of our fish is now farmed from sustainable sources. These include Icelandic cod, Norwegian halibut and Shetland organic salmon and sea trout. We ensure that wherever possible the wild fish we do use is either line or pot caught.
