The basement is made up of a main room (70 m2), a smaller one (16 m2) and two box rooms.

There are two little courtyards in front of the basement entrance and the garage; there is another upper courtyard of about 20 m2 on the ceiling of the garage, right in front of the upper floor door. All of the courtyards need to be tiled, the entrance iron gates need to be changed, the external basement walls and the balcony need to be re-plastered.
There is a L-shaped garden of about 150 m2 which surrounds the house, with nine young trees (3-4 years): two cherries, two pears, three plums, a quince and an apricot. There is a 2-metres high strawberry hedge in the rear garden.

Villamassargia, surrounded by a beautiful countryside, is really full of interesting tourist places to visit: apart from the countless wonderful beaches and seaside resorts that you can easily reach by car in less than half an hour (Masua, Plagemesu, etc), there are so many places to visit just outside the village: for example S. Giovannis caves in Domusnovas, the Marganai Forest and the olive trees wood S Ortu Mannu.
Villamassargia is the best connected place of all south-western Sardinia, with very good roads to the towns of historical town of Iglesias (30,000 inhabitants: 13 km far - less than 10 mins), Carbonia (30,000 inhabitants: 17 km less than 15 mins), the capital Cagliari (180,000 inhabitants: 50 km less than 45 mins) and Elmas airport (45 km less than 40 mins). Just outside the village there is the railway station, which connects the village to the same towns.
