Step into this 200 year old seaside Inn and you will find blazing log fires, old settles, polished oak tables, leather armchairs and a spectacular pewter topped bar. It has all the rustic charm of a proper pub but also an intimate ground floor restaurant and an elegant contemporary first floor dining room. Come here for the relaxed, unpretentious style as much as for the very good food. We believe in using carefully sourced seasonal ingredients, cooked perfectly and presented simply. Situated as we are, right next to the beach it is unsurprising that the menu owes much to native waters. Seafood is the star be it pan fried scallops with chorizo, whole roasted sea bass with caper butter and samphire or beer battered fish and chips. St Brides Bay crab and home smoked mackerel feature with other seaside favourites such as a pint of prawns and moules mariniere. For the carnivores there may be Welsh fillet steak, local lamb or venison as well as home baked bread and Welsh cheese.
