The Peacock Restaurant in Matlock

Dan Smith, Head Chef, worked with Tom Aikens in London and has since returned to Derbyshire. He has prepared and designed tantalising menus for our restaurant and bar, using, wherever possible, locally sourced ingredients. We have just recently been awarded our 3rd rosette for food by the AA. The Peacock is famed for its seven miles of fly fishing on the Rivers Wye and Derwent where anglers come from all over the world to fish for rare wild rainbow trout and our unique strain of brown trout. We are also ideally located for visiting nearby Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House.
